River Gum Retreat

River Gum Retreat is a unique, beautifully converted shed providing modern 2 bedroom accommodation with huge outdoor area, conveniently located on the edge of town. Surrounded by farmland you can enjoy your afternoon drink in the screen room while watching the change of colour of the river gums and listening to the birds. Or better still you can walk 400 metres down to river and enjoy the view from there. Spacious yard, quiet surrounds and yet close to town. We offer the best of both worlds. The space River Gum Retreat is your own air conditioned country retreat. It has modern conveniences whilst having all the benefits of a country location. During the day there is so much to do - Taronga Zoo, Old Dubbo Goal, see a show at the theatre, view an exhibition at the Cultural Centre, visit the farmers markets on every second weekend, do a beautiful river walk, visit the Flying Doctor Experience centre, have a coffee at one of Dubbo’s great Cafes, or simply relax at the retreat - the choice is yours. At night you can have dinner at one of the many restaurants in town or stay at home, have a bbq on the Webber and watch the bright night sky.
