This single-story, recent and unique cottage was built with noble materials: brushed larch, limewash, iron and wood. With a glazed opening on the mountains without any opposite, relax in this QUIET and ELEGANT accommodation in the preserved and wild VALGAUDEMAR valley in the HAUTES-ALPES. Hiking, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing... many activities away from the large tourist complexes but so close to nature and its inhabitants. SITE IN THE MIDDLE OF NATURE. The space Our gîte was created in 2021. It was designed to accommodate a maximum of 8 people. Completely sloping, you benefit from an original and spacious space with a fully equipped kitchen offering panoramic views with a glass opening on the 40 m² terrace facing the mountains. An outdoor Norwegian bath may be available depending on the conditions of the moment. Composed of 3 bedrooms, 2 toilets, 2 bathrooms including a master suite with bath, shower, toilet. The living room with wood-burning stove accommodates 2 additional beds. The beds are prepared (very warm duvet) according to the description of the group you have provided us. Each guest has a bath towel. No pets allowed, any violation will result in a refusal of the right of entry under the law of March 22, 2012. The convectors are in ecoWatt programming. We provide: -12 logs per night reserved to heat the Norwegian bath and the wood stove in the living room. Not suitable for people with reduced mobility. Access to the cottage is via a 14-step staircase. The interior of the cottage also has three steps/one step without a ramp. Children must be under the supervision of their relatives, especially on the terrace which does not have a guardrail. The village with shops and services (bakery, grocery store, restaurant, hairdresser, tobacco bar, heated swimming pool in summer, City park, bowling alley) is a 3-minute drive and 20-minute walk. Lake Sautet and its nautical base are a 15-minute drive, the sanctuary of Notre-Dame-de-la-Salette is 20 minutes away Other things to note Without traffic, the outdoors are ideal for children, natural toboggan run in winter. In the heart of the Écrins National Park, many mountain bike trails (valgaud'VTT), hiking or snowshoeing from the cottage (the GR50 crosses the hamlet) are possible, the start of the cross-country ski slopes are 15 minutes away by car.
