Enjoy a fully furnished home for your vacation! This is a non smoking residence. This is also a no pet residence. Relax in the spacious house (1,200 square foot) which is nestled in a quiet wooded area just off Route 414. The space includes a modern kitchen, 2 dining areas, 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, and a living room with a propane fireplace and large picture window to view nature. The home is surrounded by large yards. The space This is a non smoking residence. Absolutely no smoking is permitted in the house. This is also a no pet residence. The space includes a modern kitchen, 2 dining areas, 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, and a living room with a propane fireplace and large picture window to view nature. A fully equipped kitchen that includes a microwave, toaster, 12 cup coffee pot, Keurig coffee maker, 3.5 quart crock pot, dishes, pots, pans, and more is available for your use. Bring your own food! Guests are responsible for washing dishes and cooking materials (pots, pans, etc.) and putting them back where they got them. A small sample of complimentary Keurig coffee pods, tea bags, sugar, and powdered creamer are provided at the beginning of your stay. Bedding and towels are included. Wifi is now available for our guests! There is a TV, DVD player, and a Roku device to use with your streaming accounts. There is a small selection of DVDs and indoor card/board games available. There is no landline, but as far as we know there is good cell service for all carriers. For outside entertainment you will find an 8 foot by 24 foot covered porch as well as a 16 foot by 14 foot deck. A propane gas grill is located on the deck. There is a large back and side yard available for your use while you gaze at the stars, play outdoor games, or watch many wildlife species. A fire pit and limited supply of firewood is available. There is also a telescope on site for your use. Parking is located at the front of the property. No ATVs, motorcycles, snowmobiles, etc. are allowed to be used on the property. There are many nearby attractions in Tioga and Lycoming Counties and more to the north in New York State. Guest access The rental house has large yards available for your use. Often you are able to view deer, turkey, birds, etc. when you look out the window. Just a few of the attractions around the area are listed here. If you are interested in something specific, let us know and we will try to help you find it. Nearby areas provide recreation such as hunting on PA State Game Lands, fishing, skiing (Ski Sawmill), hiking & biking (Rails-to-Trails, PA Grand Canyon, State Parks), kayaking, canoeing, swimming (Big Pine & Little Pine State Park/Lake/Dam, etc.) as well as other activities. We are located about an hour from Cherry Springs State Park in Coudersport, famous for its dark skies and star gazing. Our rental also provides dark skies that give a wonderful view of the night skies, unless of course the weather is cloudy! Nearby towns include Morris, Blackwell (Rails-to-Trails, Pine Creek), Liberty, Blossburg (Coal Festival), Wellsboro (Grand Canyon, PA Laurel Festival, Dickens of a Christmas), Mansfield (Mansfield University), and Williamsport (Little League World Series). North in New York State is Elmira, Corning, (Corning Museum of Glass and quaint Gaffer District) and just beyond that is Watkins Glen (gorgeous waterfalls), and the Finger Lakes (wine country). There is also a local winery a short distance from the rental (Oregon Hill Winery). There are local grocery stores and restaurants as well as more shopping, eateries, and movie theatres a short distance away. Other things to note As noted, we do not have a washer/dryer available.
