This fabulously quirky, romantic retreat is perfect for two and ideally placed for exploring the town, the castle and, indeed, the whole of Northumberland. The space This beautiful one-bedroom luxury apartment, with a cosy lounge / diner and spacious bedroom with superb king-sized bed, is completely and sympathetically refurbished to the highest standards. Newly fitted out for 2022, Lionsgate View combines modern contemporary living with quirky period features and luxury furnishing, warmed with Hive-controlled gas central heating. This attractive light space offers the most stunning views of Alnwick Castle from both the lounge and the bedroom. A travel cot and high chair are available upon request for infants. We offer full-week stays, 3-night weekend breaks starting on Friday, and 4-night midweek breaks starting on Monday or Tuesday. In low season (normally November-March excluding school holidays) or at short notice we will also be happy to offer 2-night weekends or 3-night midweek breaks. Lionsgate View can be booked in conjunction with Barbican View and/or Castle Retreat which are separate apartments on the ground and top floor of the same building, each also sleeping two people (plus travel cot if requested). Guest access You have exclusive use of this middle floor apartment. We provide a free resident's parking permit so you can park your car in central Alnwick within a few metres of the front door. Other things to note Must climb stairs - the apartment is on the first floor. There are also four steep steps up from street level to the front door.
