Cosy countryside retreat, peaceful hamlet with pub
Description
Renovated to a high standard, this former store barn is on the edge of Shropshire AONB, by the Welsh border. In the Hills is a self-catering cottage nestled against Corndon Hill in the pretty hamlet of Priest Weston with a friendly pub. For up to 4 guests, the cottage is superbly equipped and provides peace and tranquility in stunning countryside. The upstairs living area has panoramic views down the valley. Private garden. Perfect base for walking, cycling or visiting nearby historic towns. The space In the Hills is an upside down cottage with a light and spacious living area upstairs taking advantage of the views across the valley. There's a log burner for those cosy evenings and sofa bed if there are 4 staying. The kitchen has all the mod-cons, including a dishwasher. Downstairs the bedroom has a luxury king-size bed and French doors out onto the deck. The bathroom has a generous full-size bath and walk-in monsoon shower. Outside there is secluded private garden with a decking and patio area with furniture, parasol, firepit and herb patch. There is secure cycle storage if you bring bikes. Other things to note Guests should be aware that at the back of built-in wardrobe in the bedroom there is a connecting door to the host property. This leads to a void that contains the electric consumer unit. The door is bolted and secure from both sides so that neither the guest nor the host can gain entry. The void does not transmit any sound from either the host property or the guest property. Should access be required to attend to the electric consumer unit, i.e in the case of a power failure, this will be in with the agreement of the guest.
