INTERACTION WITH GUESTS Our 5 staff are here to help make your stay memorable. They will clean your room and make your bed daily, maintain the gardens, and take your orders at Seeds restaurant. You are very likely to meet me (Birgit) or my husband Made too, as we pop in most days and are always delighted to meet our guests and help plan itineraries. OTHER THINGS TO NOTE Balila Beach Resort is a small family-run place, built and run with a lot of love and an obsessive focus on sound environmental practices. We aim to create a memorable experience — one that you won’t find anywhere else on the island — but please don’t expect 5-star sophistication! We support our community, employing and training staff from the surrounding villages, sourcing coconut oil and freshly harvested produce from local farmers, and buying fish directly from the fishermen as they land their catch on the beach below the resort. Guest access We have a restaurant, yogashala, spa and pool which our guest can use. There is also big parking place on the bottom and the access to the beach Other things to note We are an eco resort and for that we ask our guests to respect the guidelines we give them to keep the environment clean and healthy
