Secluded dog-friendly casita near wildlife refuge

Lazy Dog is conveniently located less than 2 miles from the Bosque Del Apache Wildlife Refuge. A secluded haven, our dog-friendly* casita has a fenced-in yard and private garden. We are surrounded by miles of off-road paths for quiet walks and easy bike rides, yet near enough to the Chupadera Mountains for the more adventurous hiker. Our spectacular sunsets are rivaled only by our memorable sunrises - both prime times to witness the native wildlife and bird migrations. * see Other Details below The space The Lazy Dog is a casita (tiny house) set up like a studio apartment with a queen-size bed and a comfy rocking chair. The kitchenette is equipped with small fridge, microwave, pod coffee maker, toaster, electric kettle, & a 2-burner hot plate. The bathroom is spacious and the walk-in shower has a bench, the shower nozzle can be hand held, and there's a safety grab bar along both sides. We provide snacks, lots of local publications, and a "take one, leave one" bookcase. Guest access This is a rural neighborhood and our neighbors are farmers & ranchers. There is plenty of off-street parking inside the Lazy Dog's fenced-in yard. The BNSF railroad runs infrequently a quarter mile away - close enough know it's there, far enough away to be romantic. Other things to note * We love dogs as much as you do, but hosting them adds a whole other level: If you are bringing your pet, please let us know a bit when you book - name, breed, size, etc. Please be sure to pick up pet waste and dispose of it in the outside container. Do not not leave pets unattended, either inside or out. We cannot be responsible for your pets. Although accidents happen, you may be charged for damages and the incident reported to Airbnb.
