The space The apartment is inside a period stone house, which overlooks the lake directly, a few meters from the shore. In front of the entrance to the building there is a beautiful ancient vine pergola. The apartment on the first floor is accessed by a flight of stairs. The house is lovingly furnished, with special and vintage objects and furniture, some of which I have restored. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxing. The apartment, which is at the guests' complete disposal, consists of a living room/equipped kitchen with a breathtaking view of the lake, a garden-view bedroom (double bed), a bathroom with a shower, and a dressing room. At the back of the house, guests have access to the garden equipped with a coffee table and chairs. Bed linens and towels (essentials) included in the price. The location of the house is ideal for lovers of water sports and rowing. Guest access In front of the house, from the "descent of the gardens", you immediately descend to the shore of the lake on a pedestrian area that is part of the Regional Park of Lake Trasimeno. Turning right, a beautiful cycle/pedestrian path begins between the shore of the lake and the forest, which leads to two nearby equipped beaches, in operation during the summer season. Turning left, a few steps away, you will find the village jetty where you can sunbathe, swim, admire the lake and the view. At the sailing center adjacent to the jetty (bar service, breakfasts, drinks, aperitifs) you can rent sailboats, inflatable boats, canoes and bicycles and take advantage of sailing lessons and courses. At the Albaia di Monte del Lago beach (bar service) you can practice windsurfing or kitesurfing. Other things to note The place is not well connected by public transport. It is advisable to have a car. You can park for free a few steps from the house or in the free parking lot in the village just 2 minutes from the house. In the village, in an ancient oil mill, you can buy locally produced olive oil. There are no shops in the village, but about 2 km away, in San Feliciano, there are: grocery stores, restaurants, a pharmacy, a newsstand, an ATM, a post office, a tourist information office, a boarding pier for the islands, and the "Fishing Museum." Nearby, along the lake, there are equipped green areas, swimming pools, pizzerias, refreshment places with typical cuisine, restaurants with lake fish dishes. The area that goes from the Monte del Lago pier to the beaches is a regulated "no kill" fishing area, a small oasis in which to practice conscientious sport fishing where the fish caught are then released into the water.
