"The Arrthouse",a complete 3 bedroom home and the gallery of well know Tasmanian Artist "Nigel Lazenby"; in the heritage listed, famous village of Evandale; close to facilities , convenient to airport . Parking on site( by arrangement). Walk to market, playgrounds, and Penny Farthing races/fair. Minutes from main highways, historic homes ; the house is perfect for self catering ; sleeping 7 adults /children/ toddlers/babies, in three bedrooms. Private walled deck and front yard. The space "The Arrthouse", is an updated, original family home; air conditioned, ideal of self catering . With "family bedroom" consisting of a queen sized bed and two king single beds; a double bedroom in bedroom bed in bedroom two; and a single bed in the third (toy) room. Sleeping seven guests ,The "Arrthouse" is perfect for friends and family who appreciate new experiences. Air-conditioned, open; with self catering, there is privacy, quiet, and yet just four minutes away is the main street. Quality linen, basic stocks for the pantry and assistance from your hosts are just a reassuring phone call away. We are happy to provide a portacot, booster seat, folding baby bath, change table and pusher. A picnic/bbq set , should you wish to use the free bbq play area just around the corner in the "green" in Murray street is provided. There is a single kids bedroom with TV, videos, kitchen play, games, kites ,ball etc and activities. You will love the private, sunny , walled deck for a glass of wine and some nibbles before dinner. A football oval further up the street, a small skate ramp, cricket, bowling pens, help the kids burn the excess energy up. Sunday markets (with pony rides for the kids); opposite us we have miniature train rides on Sunday afternoons, . Large bedrooms have sets of drawers, hanging racks behind doors, touch bedside lights, wonderful artworks and quality linen. Heating panels are attached to the bedroom walls although most guest never need to use them. A private table is behind the front hedge protected yard for an evening drink or coffee. The bathroom is large with a doorless ,easy access shower and there is just one step at the front door entry into the hall and one step down to the bathroom. A continental laundry with washer, sink, dryer, airing rack, detergent ,clothes streamer, ironing board etc is hidden behind the mirrored wall. A heated towel rail and panel heater are attached to the wall. Guest access This entire front house with its own entry and it's private walled deck and front yard area are totally for our guests. It's a lovely level walk of about four minutes to the centre of Evandale, parks, character shops , bakery, amazing Clarendon Arms Hotel, antique, gift and leather shops and just another two minutes onward to the Sunday market. Just leave the car and enjoy the walk. Parking in the main st and side streets is available and there is parking in the market car park. We can provide parking for your car ( by prior arrangement )on the site. Other things to note Heating panels on walls in bedrooms and bathroom must never have clothing or any other items next to them or drying on them. It is a fire risk if they are covered up. Please feel free to use airing rack in front of the very effective air conditioner, or clothes dryer in continental laundry in the bathroom.
