Comfort and Charm in Harlem Brownstone near Subway

We would like to share our Harlem brownstone with you. You will have your own bedroom and bathroom, with access to a large backyard garden and patio. We are just north of central park, in a neighborhood full of restaurants and music, shopping and culture. There is great transportation access to all parts of New York city - 4 subway lines are a very short walk away; bus stops are even closer, and taxis and limousines pass by frequently. We donate a percentage of our fees to the Wild Bird Fund The space It's our home, a duplex apartment in a brownstone building in a historic Harlem street, that we have worked to make warm and welcoming for our family and which we are happy to share with you. We have lived here for 14 years and have filled it with things that remind us of what we love best: family and friends, art and literature and music. We are fortunate to have a backyard (in Manhattan !), with trees and plants that are a refuge to us, and which we hope you will enjoy as well. Guest access You will have access to your own private bedroom and bathroom and all the common areas: living room, kitchen and washer/dryer. Only our bedrooms and master bathroom are off limits. Smoking is possible, but only in the back yard or patio. We ourselves do not smoke. You can use the refrigerator and kitchen cabinets for food storage, and our kitchen for light food preparation. If you feel like cooking and would like us to join in, just let us know. :) Other amenities you will have access to: cable TV, water filter, kitchen utensils and tools, and complimentary tea and coffee; we grind our coffee fresh and have an Aeropress and a French Press available for you to use. High-speed wireless Internet is available throughout the apartment. You have an audiophile Bluetooth speaker in your room for your personal use (Riva Turbo X). During your stay We can interact as little or as much as you would like. We love meeting new people, and would be happy to introduce you to things to see and do in the neighborhood and in NYC, but we do respect your desire for privacy. Other things to note We are a multi-ethnic, multi-lingual family who love to travel and explore every bit of our surroundings; besides English, we are comfortable with Lithuanian, Chinese (Mandarin, some Fukienese and Cantonese), and some Malay.
