Find a place to relax in this magical bohemian A-frame on the water. Enjoy one of the decks under the trees, or admire the water through the expansive A-frame windows. Hop the kayak or canoe to explore the canals and lake. The house is family-friendly with age-appropriate amenities such as toys, snacks, and games. You will be just ten minutes from downtown Granbury. **Weekly, monthly, and four-night discounts* If you plan to bring your pet, please read *Pet Rules* below. The space Downstairs bedroom: Queen bed, ensuite half bathroom | Upstairs bedroom*: Queen bed | Loft area: twin crib mattress on floor - for children 5+ only | Master bathroom: bathtub with shower. Pack n' play available. *Please note the upstairs bedroom is not fully enclosed, with some open space above the ductwork near the ceiling (see pictures) *Fireplace not operational; please see FIREPLACE below Firefly A-frame can comfortably accommodate four people. Five may be accommodated if one or two guests are children under the age of 12 - please message me for this circumstance. This is the perfect spot for couples, small families, or intimate getaways with friends. Get inspired with local artists featured throughout the house. FIREPLACE AND FIREPIT The indoor fireplace has a small Flikr mini fireplace, which is fueled by isopropyl alcohol. (Not wood burning). Isopropyl alcohol is provided. There is a fire pit by the water for your use. A fire starter log is provided, but please bring your own wood. Please check for Hood County burn bans before use. TELEVISION and INTERNET: There is a smart TV in each bedroom, with access to Netflix, Disney+, or Hulu. You may also cast to the TV. (No cable, and no TV in the living room). There is high-speed wireless internet access. INTERACTIONS WITH NATURE: because of the A-frame structure, you may occasionally hear squirrels on the roof. You may also hear nuts or small branches falling on the roof, especially during Fall. There are flocks of geese that frequent the yard- beware of goose droppings. KITCHEN and COFFEE: You will have access to ground coffee, coffee beans from a local coffee shop, tea, and light breakfast snacks. There is a drip coffee maker, french press, pourover, and electric kettle. The kitchen is equipped with chef-quality knives and cookware. A propane grill is located on the back deck. ENTERTAINMENT: There are two kayaks, and a canoe available for your enjoyment. Lifejackets for all ages are provided. You can enjoy lawn games like cornhole and horseshoes. Inside, there are board games, books, music on the wireless speaker, records on the record player, or simply sit and enjoy nature! CHILDREN: The house is child-friendly, and you are welcome to bring children of any age (our 2 and 4 year old have spent a lot of time here!), but please be aware the house is not "childproof" - there are stairs (a baby gate is provided), many potted plants, and books and other decorative items within reach. It is your responsibility as a parent to evaluate the suitability of the property for your needs, and to ensure your children follow the house rules. ******PET RULES***** We allow one dog per booking (no cats). You must indicate you are bringing a pet when booking, and pay the $35 pet fee. We love pets and know they are family, but we do ask you follow our pet rules: -Guests must acknowledge agreement to the below rules and pay a $35 pet fee -Animals are not allowed on the furniture or beds -Animals must be crated while you're away (a crate will be provided if you'd like). -Clean up after your pet -Animals must be up to date on flea preventative -Guests are financially responsible for any damage done by their pet, as well as additional cleaning fees incurred if rules are not followed. Commercial Bookings: Please find us on Peerspace to book your commercial shoot. Guest access Guests can access all of the property.
