Please use the blackout curtains provided for your comfort. Floors and stairs: ✦ The apartment is located on the 1st floor and in the basement. There are 8 outside steps to get to the home, then 14 internal steps down to the basement. Other things to note *TOWELS* We use thin microfiber towels, a more ecological choice to reduce our environmental impact, while offering optimal comfort. *TV* We have a smart TV in the unit but do not offer cable channels. There is an HDMI cable at your disposal so you can connect your PC/Mac to the TV. You'll also be able to connect to your Netflix, Youtube, and other platforms of your choice. *WiFi* The apartment is equipped with a very fast private WIFI network, allowing you to work remotely without the slightest problem:) *LAUNDRY ROOM* There is a washer as well as a state-of-the-art dryer for a little added convenience. *PARKING* The garage indoor parking can accommodate vehicles up to the size of a small SUV. Due to the limited space and in order to avoid damaging the property, larger vehicles — such as trucks and Suburbans — must be parked on the streets near the building. No parking in front of the garage as you can receive a city ticket. Be sure to read the parking restriction signs when you park your car wherever you go in town. *AIR CONDITIONING & COMFORT* The apartment is equipped with a high capacity air conditioning system covering the common areas – living room, dining room, kitchen and hallways – which ensures a pleasant temperature on hot days. For better air circulation throughout the accommodation, we recommend that you leave the bedroom doors open and/or use the fan (ceiling or standing) available in each room. *SNOW REMOVAL* In winter, please note that our snow removal companies wait for 5 cm of snow to accumulate before sending their teams to clean the space in front of the garage and stairs. Please consider whether this is manageable for you, especially when climbing stairs, moving strollers or walking in light snow. Generally, they will wait until the end of precipitation before deploying their team to clear snow only once. A shovel will be available on-site.
