The space Originally built in 1948 a classic Mt Beauty SEC home, The Lakehouse has been lovingly renovated by its owners, talented husband and wife team, transforming it from a charming original into a stylish, breathtaking sanctuary inside and out. Step inside and you’ll be welcomed by a light-filled lounge with a Nectre wood burning fireplace with French doors opening to the front verandah, where stunning views of the lake and parklands await. The modern, fully equipped kitchen features a Nespresso coffee pod machine, full-size fridge, dishwasher and oven. Three luxurious bedrooms with ceiling fans and premium linens, while two elegant bathrooms are stocked with Aesop shower products. Comfort is ensured year round with split-system heating and cooling, plus Nobo slimline wall heaters in the kitchen, mudroom, and two of the bedrooms for cooler months. A covered entertaining area overlooks the spacious yard and firepit, perfect for evenings with friends and family. The front and rear decks provide serene spots to enjoy your morning coffee or unwind with a good book, surrounded by manicured gardens. The lush plantings attract an array of local birdlife, so don’t be surprised if you’re joined by a few friendly feathered visitors. Guest access The Lakehouse is all yours with exclusive use of all areas, with the exception of the garage which will be locked. Other things to note The house is suitable for all ages, but not suitable for pets & sleeps a max of 6 across 3 bedrooms: Bedroom 1 - QS bed and direct access to the front porch with double french doors & screens. Bedroom 2 - Double bed Bedroom 3 - QS bed All bedrooms have ceiling fans, Nobo wall heaters in Bed 1 & 3 and all linen is supplied including towels & river towels for summer bookings. There are 2 steps to get into the house, for those that may have mobility issues this is worth noting. The main bathroom has a walk through shower and the 2nd bathroom is a shower over the bath. There are 2 toilets, one in the main bathroom & 2nd is a separate toilet at the rear of the house. Aesop bath products are supplied including body wash, shampoo & conditioner. Pantry basics are stocked and available to all guests, this includes: Coffee, Tea and herbal teas, milo & drinking chocolate, Salt, Pepper, Olive Oil, Vinegar and assortment of spices, cling wraps, foil and baking paper. Fire wood is supplied & a welcome hamper provided on arrival for you to enjoy with a few goodies from some of our favourite local businesses.
