The living room is lit by an Italian, crystal chandelier - the first of the owner’s growing collection in this comfortable home with white slipcovers, old hardwood floors and soft beds. Enjoy a comfortable stay near the Round Top Antique Show, the La Grange town square, or the charming nearby towns. This house is not suitable for young children. No pets. The space The bungalow is conveniently located in a lovely residential area of older homes and bungalows with large trees. It is just around the block from the Library and Park. It is less than 1/2 mile to the grocery store. (The long driveway eliminates the need to park on the street.) With its original “waterfall” wood siding, covered front porch, beadboard ceilings, hardwood floors, Arhaus kitchen table, freestanding tub, antiques and touches of crystal, your big-city worries will be far away as you drift off to sleep in “the best little town in Texas”. There is easy access to US-77, taking you quickly into the town square of La Grange, or toward any of the nearby, charming small towns. It’s a short, scenic drive to Round Top for shopping and dining; Schulenburg with its quirky and cool places to eat and the breathtaking “Painted Churches of Schulenburg”; the old-Austin vibe of Bastrop on the river; Smithville, the town of “Hope Floats”, Brenham, a lively town of local music and restaurants, (home of the famous Blue Bell creamery) and other small towns and wineries to discover. Guest access Guests will have use of the entire residence and backyard. Other things to note This home is not suitable for babies or young children. No pets allowed.
