Centrally located, this apartment is attached to our 7500 sq ft historic log lodge. This quirky apartment is located on a quiet culdesac. This apartment is a hidden gem in the heart of town on 3.5 acres. Close to everything but feels private. This is one of a kind log cabin with modern decor but truly a uniquely Alaskan experience. The apartment is located on a property with a historic lodge, 4 treehouses and a lodge cottage. There is 2 shared hot tubs, barrel sauna and bathhouse with laundry. The space You will walk into the combined living and dining area. There is a full kitchen to your left and a bedroom with a queen bed and the attached bathroom to your right. In front of you the metal spiral staircase that leads up to the loft bedroom with a full bed, it feels like your sleeping in a treehouse. There is also a full sized futon in the living area. The apartment has room darkening curtains so you can rest on the luxurious bedding. Relax and enjoy the large yard from your private porch right outside the front door. Guest access You will have your own parking spot and the road is a private drive for the lodge and 4 neighboring homes. We are located on a private and hidden spot in the middle of Fairbanks. You will have your own private apartment, deck and entrance. This apartment does share a wall with unit 2 and the main lodge. Other things to note There are 2 spiral staircases on the property, one outside to access the apartment and the other to get into the loft bedroom that is open to the living and dining area. The only bathroom is located in the bedroom. The loft bedroom with the full bed is open to the living area. There are 2 shared hot tubs and 2 shared washing machines and dryers in the bathhouse next to the hot tubs. There has been some settling in the structure so the floors are sloping a bit, we have several engineers inspect the property and it is structurally safe. You do share a wall with the other unit and noise does travel between units. We have provided sounds machines for your use during your stay. We do try to make repairs and replace broken furniture in between stays, so there might be small differences between the pictures on the listing and apartment. There is a ring camera mounted to the back of the lodge building that is actively recording the entrance to the bathhouse and bathhouse area for security.
