Nestled in the heart of Anglesey, Bwthyn Cerrig is a cosy, beautifully renovated cottage designed for couples, small families and dog owners looking to slow down, switch off and spend quality time together. Spend your days exploring stunning beaches, coastal walks and cute villages before returning to light the log burner, put your feet up and relax. The space The Cottage Bwthyn Cerrig comfortably sleeps up to four guests and has been thoughtfully renovated with a modern Scandinavian-inspired style while keeping a warm, cosy feel. The open-plan living, dining and kitchen space is perfect for spending time together, whether you're enjoying breakfast before heading out for the day or relaxing in front of the log burner in the evening. We provide logs so you can arrive, settle in and make yourselves at home. Your cottage has its own patio and garden area, separated from our neighbouring cottage by mature laurel hedging, giving each cottage its own outdoor space while still enjoying the relaxed atmosphere of Bythynnod Bryn Gollen. Most of Anglesey's stunning beaches, coastal villages and attractions are within around a 20-minute drive, making it easy to explore a different part of the island each day without spending hours in the car. Whether you're paddleboarding at Aberffraw, walking to Llanddwyn Island, exploring Beaumaris, crabbing in Cemaes Bay or simply enjoying fish and chips on the beach, there's something new to discover every day. The local village is just a 10-minute walk away and has two pubs, a café, fish and chip shop, convenience store and children's playground. There are also lovely countryside walks straight from the cottage, including a scenic walk to Llyn Alaw Reservoir. Melin Llynon, home to Siocled Môn and Môn Nuts, is only a short drive away and well worth a visit. Guest access You'll have exclusive use of the entire cottage, along with your own patio and garden area. There is free on-site parking for your stay. Other things to note A car is recommended to make the most of your time on Anglesey and explore the island's many beaches, attractions and hidden gems. Garden & dogs The cottage has its own enclosed garden area with grass and a patio, perfect for sitting outside and giving your dog some space to stretch their legs. We have two holiday cottages on site, each with its own garden area, separated by a laurel hedge. The cottages do, however, share the parking/driveway area, so you may occasionally see other guests and their dogs coming and going. While the garden is enclosed, we don't describe it as completely dog-proof. There is a small gap beneath the driveway gate which may not be suitable for very small dogs or determined escape artists, and we can't guarantee that dogs from the two cottages will never come into contact with one another. We are also surrounded by working farmland, so there may be sheep or cattle in the neighbouring fields at certain times of year. If your dog is particularly reactive to other dogs, livestock or people, please get in touch before booking and we'll be happy to explain the layout so you can decide whether it will be suitable for them.
