Lovingly designed and decorated by our mother reflecting warmth and comfort which every home provides. A safe haven for us which we visit often. Managed and well looked after by Rakesh and his wife Gauri who are like family to us and have been associated with our family since 1970’s. A great location due to the proximity to the main Mall. A centrally located independent flat. The ideal location makes it easy to access the tourist spots nearby. Options to go to Mall in vehicle via main Circular/ Cart road or walk to Mall by shorter route in 10 minutes, or take a bus from the main road 150 metres below the house. Ola cab and private cab service available. Cab references provided. A wonderful place to spend time, experiencing the comfort of a home and enjoying the flexibility of space from the 2 cozy bedrooms to the lovely drawing room and living room. Clean and comfy bed linen/blankets and quilts/towels/toiletries - shampoo and body wash/geysers in washrooms and kitchen. Smart TV/ high speed wifi. Kitchen equipped with all gadgets, refrigerator, aquaguard/ micro/ gas burner/toaster/mixie/ sandwich maker/hot water flasks. Tea/ coffee on the house Basic masalas and oil available to give a head start. Free parking on the street approaching the property, where the neighbour hood cars are parked too. Municipality parking near the lift.( 2kms) Parking available at property only for a compact car. Area serviced with grocery shops within 50 metres radius. Hospital and medical shops nearby. Provision for home delivery of food from nearby restaurants. A bakery factory adjacent to the property where one can relish hot buns/paneer rolls/ potato and veg patties and pastries Space comfortable for 7 guests as apart from the two bedrooms we provide 2 large mattresses and a settee in the living room for more than 4 guests. A self serving holiday home rental offered to you to treat as your own. To make holidays in Shimla memorable and cherished ones. A FEW THINGS TO CONSIDER We do not have a luggage drop provision before check in. Neither do we hold, luggage for guests who check out in time but plan to take evening buses/cabs or train Rakesh our caretaker does not live onsite. He will be there to receive you to hand over the keys. Familiarise you with the house and the surrounding area shops where you can buy groceries etc from. He can arrange taxi for sightseeing. No provision or responsibility of arranging the stay of cab or personal drivers. Gauri comes for housekeeping everyday at 10:30. The timings are fixed.Incase you are leaving early for sightseeting and are uncomfortable in getting it done in your absence, do let us know. It will be provided the next day. Guest access Guests have access to the complete apartment. Independent and not shared with any other guests.
