Recently renovated 1800s stone cottage on one of the oldest streets in Newquay, set back from the main streets but in easy walking distance of town. Recently renovated and much loved, fitted with a wood burning stove, perfect for cosy winter evenings. Fibre broadband, perfect for a home-away-from-home office. The space Renovated fisherman's cottage from the 1800s, 5 minute walk to the beach, sleeps 4 people. Superfast fibre broadband for easy work-from-Cornwall, or cosying up with Netflix! Lovingly renovated, this is my home and I rent it out when I'm away. - Living room with 2 sofas, Smart TV, woodburning stove (I supply one basket of logs for your stay), local art & selection of books. - New kitchen with induction hob, electric oven, dishwasher and washer/dryer. All crockery, pots and pans and cooking utensils and some basic provisions provided. Built in seating area and custom made dining table to seat 6 people. - Outside space includes an outdoor shower (with hot water!) and wetsuit rack, decking, table and chairs for 8 people, BBQ and planted area. First floor: - Master bedroom with king size bed and luxury bedding, built-in wardrobes and chest of drawers. Two beautifully restored sash windows let in glorious morning sunshine. Space for a travel cot (please let me know if you require one during your stay, can be provided on request subject to availability). - Second double bedroom with open hanging space and small chest of drawers. Window out over the back decking with views of the evening sunset - Luxury wet room with modern freestanding bath, walk-in shower, toilet, sink and towel heater. Basics such as salt and pepper, oil, spices, soap and toilet roll provided. One large bath sheet per person and hand towels/tea towels provided, please bring your own beach towels. A collection of books, maps and games are provided for you to enjoy those cosy winter evenings in front of the fire. Unfortunately no pets allowed during your stay. The cottage is set back on a pedestrian alleyway so is super quiet and peaceful, but only a couple of minutes walk to all of the amenities of town and the beaches. Guest access There is no parking at the cottage as it's set back on a pedestrian alleyway. But there is free on-street or car park parking a couple of minutes' walk away, I provide a map of all the parking options with your check-in information.
