The Cider Barn - rural cosy cottage near Looe

Situated within beautiful, peaceful grounds the cottage is a rural paradise just 12 minutes drive from the coast at Looe. Sit by the lake in the tranquil garden and you will find an abundance of wildlife. At night the clear sky makes for stunning star gazing opportunities. Whilst rural it's a great base for exploring the local restaurants and beautiful beaches including, Looe, Fowey and Polperro. The stunning, sandy north coast beaches can also be reached in as little as 40 minutes. The space The cottage, once an apple store and home to the cider press, is now a cosy single-storey barn conversion with exposed wood beams. It contains an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, one bedroom with king size bed and a bathroom with bath and shower over top. The lounge has a TV with Freesat channels and an inbuilt DVD player. The property benefits from high speed broadband throughout so you can stay connected whilst away from the hustle and bustle of normal life. The kitchen is equipped with an integrated electric oven and gas hob, microwave and fridge. Outside the property there is a small patio which overlooks the grounds and lake. Outdoor seating and a BBQ is provided in the summer (charcoal not provided). There is space for one car to park in the yard right next to the cottage. Guests are welcome to make use of the grounds which include a lake and gazebo. For those that want to explore further afield you can walk half a mile to the village of Herodsfoot where you can join the West Looe Valley Trail. Guest access Guests can make use of the grounds and lake apart from the small garden area near the farmhouse. There is onsite parking for one car. Additional cars, caravans/motorhomes may be accommodated by prior arrangement. Bikes can be stored in the barn - please contact us prior to arrival to arrange. Other things to note Mobile signal is patchy with most networks at the property but you can make use of WiFi calling in the cottage. You can also use our landline in emergencies.
