Relax and unwind in this beautiful off-grid shepherds hut nestled in an orchard on our working farm. Set on a small glamping site near the coast, it's the perfect base to explore beautiful Exmoor. Our hut has a wood fired hot tub heated for your arrival on the first night, comfy double bed, wood burning stove, outdoor firepit and your own private toilet /shower room just 30m away making this the perfect space to experience nature with all the luxuries needed for a truly relaxing stay. The space The off- grid hut provides a chance to escape from technology with just a radio. books and board games for entertainment. Solar power runs the fridge and lights whilst the wood burner keeps you warm on cooler nights. The hut has a comfortable double bed with cotton bedding provided, a sofa and gas hob for basic cooking. All cooking equipment, cutlery, crockery and glasses are provided. There is no running water in the hut but mains tap water is available in the nearby facilities building with washing up area. A real chance to enjoy the experience of camping with all the luxury of a comfortable bed and hot showers. This is "true glamping." A wood fired hot tub with logs is included in the price and the tub will be heated for your arrival on the first day of your stay. Your own private heated shower and toilet room is situated just 30 metres away with towels and Faith in Nature toiletries included. Outside the hut is a table and chairs to enjoy alfresco dining and your very own firepit with grill for delicious BBQ's and snuggling around on cool evenings. A chance to sit back, look up and admire the renowned Exmoor Dark Skies. Guest access There is private off road parking for one car on the edge of the orchard. We are close the the A39 so there is good access to the site. Other things to note Full English or continental breakfast hampers available to order at an additional cost. Logs for the wood burner included. One medium dog or 2 small dogs welcome at additional cost of £10 per dog. Dog bed and bowls can be provided. There is another hut in the orchard available to book if friends or family want to join you. Please note that from May 2023, we will be adding a yurt to the orchard. Each unit will be well spaced apart with privacy screening and individual private toilet /shower room.
