Sunny Oasis Steps From the Lake
Sunny Oasis Steps From the Lake
Description
This beautifully renovated apartment is on a block rich in history and retro architecture. It's like having the city out the front and a beach resort out the back! Close to Loyola, NU, Evanston and 30 seconds to the lake and a cozy beach. You'll have a private room off the main living/dining area in this spacious four-bedroom duplex. Ideal for Loyola or NU parents or students and open for extended stays (for one person). Please note: we rarely accept guests who don't have previous reviews. The space The bathroom is just around the corner from the bedroom. It is shared when the other downstairs room is occupied; you will mostly have it to yourself. The common area on the main floor is an open-concept living area with a modern kitchen and view of the lake. Upstairs, there is a TV room and desk/workstation that is available if that space is not booked. You will share the common areas with Tammy and Scott and our small dog, Poco. We are often home but will give you plenty of privacy. There may also be other Airbnb guests in the common areas as we rent one other room as well. Guest access The house is 3 blocks from the Jarvis train stop. The Sheridan bus is 1/2 block away. There is street parking as well as a nice parking garage across the street with a fee of 24 hours for $10. During your stay My husband Scott and I live here with our dog Poco and, occasionally, my young adult son or daughter. I work at home and Scott has a flexible schedule so we are available but keep busy and will leave you in peace. We like a nice balance of socializing and quiet time. Happy to answer any questions about the space to be sure it fits your needs. Other things to note **Need more rooms? Please ask about our additional room with private bath.
