Point Lookout’s most striking house was designed in the Japanese tradition of elegant spaces and expressed structure to create a zone of quiet contemplation. An innovative mix of raw timber, hi-tech materials and huge openings to the native bush. The space Cypress House designed by architect Drew Heath is best enjoyed opened up to take in the island breezes. It is a simple elegant space. Light the outside fire at night lie back and enjoy the evening sky. The south and north facing verandahs allow space to read and relax. Guest access This is a whole house booking so you have access to everything. Other things to note The house is designed by architect Drew Heath, who won the Wilkinson Award for excellence in residential architecture in 2013.
