Secluded house on four acres of wilderness with all the modern amenities. Two bedrooms with an expansive deck, fireplace and enclosed porch. Bordering on 30,000 acres of the Catskill Preserve, close to Vernooy Kill Falls and Lake Minnewaska This home is pure magic but in order to navigate the mountain location in the winter months 4 wheel drive is a must! The space Ours is a secluded house on four acres of wooded land, off a private road about two hours from the George Washington Bridge. We are also close to both Mohonk and Minnewaska, perfect for hiking, swimming and rock-climbing. Guest access The house is eclectically furnished, we collect oddities, bizarre art, books, records, DVDs and taxidermy. We are both in creative industries and our tastes reflect as much. You won’t be bored. The master bedroom downstairs is equipped with a queen bed and the upstairs loft holds a full-sized futon. Note that the upstairs loft is open to the main space, so only semi-private. Ample towels and bedding are provided. Additionally, the house amenities include high speed internet, central heat, an outdoor gas grill, a stereo (with turntable, mini-jack, USB), flat-screen television (with DVD player), a modern kitchen with dishwasher, drip coffee maker, coffee grinder, blender, food processor, toaster, Soda Stream, utensils, spices, etc. Other things to note We have newly remodeled our kitchen and bath. Please be gentle and take care of spills immediately.
