Bring your own groceries or enjoy local restaurants. Upstairs has twin bedroom you walk through to access the to the Queen bedroom. Great for parents with children. Arriving with children? Be sure to mention so i can set up a dress up play space upstairs they will love! The upstairs stairwell has a lower clearance than newer homes and their is a sign to remind you. Laundry available for guests staying multiple days, week, or for a month. Please bring your own soaps etc. Security cameras are on the farm property NOT in the Airbnb. TWO homes on the farmstead, the Airbnb is the smaller guest house. Owners live on the property and are available if needed. Please follow the house rules and guidelines for occupancy etc or it will result in a negative review and you will be requested the $25 per person overage. Please note that there are farm pets that roam... 1 golden retrievers, cats, and occasionally a cow. ;) This is a wonderful location for a week getaway with its location to many parks and recreational areas. It’s a short drive to cities such as Madison Wi or Chicago This is a perfect respite for traveling guests. Also a peaceful getaway for the weekend for a change of scenery. A great space to accommodate those visiting the area for activities, family, friends, or in town for sporting events. I would be happy to offer ideas for places to visit for all age groups. This is a working farm therefor during the day yard work, or some farm equipment may come in and out of the driveway. Guests have access to the Airbnb yard, patio, and house. This is a separate guest home on our farm. Our main house is across the driveway so are available if needed. It has a keypad entry. When you pull into the driveway the Airbnb is to the RIGHT. The short driveway makes a t in front of the barn. Please see the photo in the listing for clarification. (Our big main house is to the left.) Arriving at DARK or RAIN: I will leave a dusk to dawn light on, however it attracts bugs. I ask guests to enter by the welcome sign at screened in porch. Keypad entry door handles can become faulty from heavy rain. However, the door on the porch is protected from rain and will always work. We have 1golden retriever that are friendly. They may bark upon first arrival because of a new visitor, but are very friendly. If you don’t want them around shoo them away and they will leave. Charlie the cat likes to greet visitors as well. Farm life :) We can accommodate camper/trailer parking. We would appreciate guest vehicles being limited to 3-4 in the driveway. When you go upstairs to the 2 bedrooms there is Low Clearance so please watch your head. There are stairs to a basement with a baby gate. If you are staying with small children please watch them around this area.
