Build in 1780 it has a range of historical features, resulting in the status of 'Rijksmonument' (state monument). Nestled in a private 2200 m2 garden with an abundance of fruit trees (apple, pear, cherries, plums) the villa provides the perfect setting for indoor & outdoor family fun. Set within a shielded court yard is the beautiful fire bowl that can be used as BBQ and cosy evening camp fires. The space This is a TEFAF 2023 special! Welcome to your luxury home away from home. You are guaranteed to enjoy the abundance of indoor and outdoor spaces of this unique farm villa in full privacy! The house and garden have many features that will ensure a relaxing time: The completely private indoor swimming pool (9,5 x 4 x 1,6m) provides guaranteed fun, relaxation and pool parties during all weather conditions. The provided flat screen TV can be used to cast gym sessions or Netflix. The pool room also includes a convenient bathroom with toilet and shower. The large living kitchen (40m2) with indoor garden brings country chic living where the 8 seater dining table is set for cosy breakfast, lunch and diners. Fresh coffee can be enjoyed from the full automatic coffee machine (whole beans). The contemporary 'snug' (or green room as we call it) acts as special retreat room where you can ly across from the fire place chilling out with a good book. The TV room provide a large TV. The characteristic office (flat screen available) and piano room offer a historical feel (was used as the border office between Netherlands and Belgium back in 1780) as well as a nice view out over the fruit trees. On the one side lies a pretty agricultural area with rolling hills and walk + bike ways. On the other side (500 meters into Belgium) lies an UNESCO world heritage natural reserve that can be enjoyed by bike, foot and kayak. The beautiful city centre of Maastricht is 8 min by bike and 4 min by car (4km). 6 airports are located within 1 hours car journey (EIN, BRU, MST, CRL, CGN, DUS). Other things to note No groups or multi-family parties. Wifi is available in most areas of the house and in some of the garden.
