Description
A traditional renovated 400-year-old stone house, situated in 6000 square meters of working farmland including olive groves, fruit trees, vegetable and herb gardens, and vineyards. This unique spot is ideal for anyone who enjoys nature and its peace and quiet: families, friends, couples, or singles. Everybody is welcome! The space The house is on the ground floor, 48 square meters, composed of 2 rooms separated by a corridor and bathroom. In the bedroom there's a double bed (200cm x 140cm) and a sofa bed (190cm x 80cm), a closet, and plenty more storage space including a small attic. The other room consists of a seating area with 2 sofa beds (180cm x 85cm), and a fully functioning kitchen with a wood fired stove and all necessary kitchen utensils. The bathroom contains a washbasin, a shower, and toilet. The house is surrounded by a beautiful garden and terraces with a sea and mountain view. The stone walls keep the house comfortably cool, even during midsummer, so no air conditioning is needed. Guest access You are welcome to make our home your home and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of the whole property with its outside stone built seating areas and gardens. Stroll through the olive grove, relax under the shade of the old plane and oak trees, meditate or watch the sunset on the little hill behind the house. You can also pick, eat, and cook your own organic vegetables and fruits from the garden. Other things to note If you wish, you can be actively involved in the daily activities on the land. Learn how to plant, maintain, and harvest organic vegetables and fruits. We can also show you how to prepare tasty Ikarian/Greek dishes and desserts with them. Help us collect local herbs and spices, or harvest olives and grapes (depending on the season). Registration Details 00000344686
