The neighborhood has everything you could want with NE Williams Street a short walk away, easy access to the Rose Garden and the Convention Center, and a 10-minute bike ride to Powell's Books in downtown Portland. The community center across the street offers a full-sized pool and gym. Enter through your own gate into a backyard food forest, and enjoy a private entrance to your apartment. 'Just walk out' checkout The space This newly updated apartment includes one full bath, one bedroom with queen bed, kitchenette (no range) with coffee and tea, cozy dining and living space with TV. Clean, quiet space to return to after a busy day of exploring the city. We live upstairs in a historic home, and we love Portland. We're happy to share our favorite places and tips with you, or to give you all the privacy you need. You might run into our cats Lou and Gigi or our chickens in the backyard (they love the garden), but we never let them into the apartment for any guests who may have allergies. The garden is full of unique flowering and fruiting plants which you are free to enjoy along with a hammock, patio set and firepit. Guest access The entire lower apartment is all yours. This includes the bedroom, living area, dry kitchenette (no sink), bathroom. You are welcome to share our backyard. We have a large garden and a patio with a table and chairs. Please note the area is not accessible for social use after 9PM, out of consideration for our neighbors. Other things to note This is a no smoking unit We do not have a pool on the property but the Matt Dishman community center across the street has an Olympic sized pool, kids area and hot tub. Drop-ins are $6 and the schedule is on their website We have two young children, Ruth and Ella, and while we keep them from running around during early and late hours, you might hear us and other house noises in the mornings and evenings (7-8am and 5-7pm) or during the day on weekends.
