Located on one easy-access level, Notre Reve boasts four bedrooms and three bathrooms, making it the perfect rental for a large family or group of friends. Two bathrooms have been recently renovated. The home also has a spacious Great Room area featuring a kitchen with a massive island, a living room with a wood-burning fireplace, and a dining table that can seat 8 (4 additional seats are located on the kitchen island). The home is perfect for family gatherings and getaways. Outside the expansive deck includes a gas grill for summertime BBQs plus seating that faces Lake Superior. There is a lake-facing firepit plus over 300 feet of private ledge rock Lake Superior shoreline to enjoy. All nestled nicely amongst the trees, creating a privacy barrier even from Lake Superior! This peaceful retreat is a wonderful year-round destination, and awaiting your visit! Need More Space? Notre Reve is located directly next door to Cedar Shores Chalet. Renting both together would provide space for larger groups or two families traveling together who each want their own space. Allergy Warning: This home is not a pet-friendly property, but the owner has a dog. A dander and pet hair free property cannot be guaranteed. Pictured Bunk Beds: Bedrooms 3 and 4 have bunk beds in them, but the top bunks are not included in the rental and bedding will not be supplied for those beds. 2025 Construction: There is a home being built right next door to Notre Reve and this home shares the driveway. You will drive past the home under construction to reach Notre Reve. There may be work happening on the home during your stay. The Lutsen area offers everything from miles of hiking and biking trails to the Midwest’s premier downhill skiing destination – Lutsen Mountains. Known primarily as a ski resort, during the summer months and fall you can take a scenic gondola ride up to the summit of Moose Mountain. Once you reach the top, enjoy breathtaking views of Lake Superior and the surrounding wilderness. Staying on the wilderness trail, Cascade State Park is just down the road and features a gorgeous waterfall following a short, easy hike. You are also just a short drive from several North Shore restaurants and quaint, locally-owned shops, including the North Shore’s first winery and first local coffee roaster. After a marvelous day of adventure on the North Shore, return to the Notre Reve to unwind with the soothing sounds of Lake Superior. Few things are more memorable than falling asleep to the rhythm of one of the world’s largest freshwater lakes dancing on the shoreline. Accessibility: While not a wheelchair-accessible home, this home is accessible for some people with mobility issues. The home is located on a single story (the master bedroom requires a few steps down to access) with wide hallways. Guests can easily access the outside deck area off the living room, as well. Lake access is "easy" and requires going down two stone steps to access. However, ledge rock shorelines are uneven and challenging for some to walk around on.
