Brand new bright lake and mountain view 2 bedroom cabin which functions as a home. The view is truly incredible as other guests can attest. The cabins are modern and stylish. They are tucked up on the mountain side: a scenic 10 minute drive from Nelson, 20 mins to White Water ski resort rd. , and 50 mins to Red Mountain. Enjoy golf, fishing all the beauty, adventure and amenities the Kootenay’s have to offer. Reminder when booking this is a mountain cabin not a hotel! The space You have the entire cabin for the duration of your stay. Enjoy the lake and mountain views and relax. Guest access The road can be difficult for those on bikes or low clearance cars or who are not used to dirt roads. 4 wheel drive is not necessary but recommended especially in the winter. As you will be given an key, you can enjoy privacy during your stay. We live on the property in our own home which is not visible and far from cabins. That being said we are available during reasonable hours to help out. Being a native Nelsonite I am always happy to provide recommendations and ideas. The last short bit up to the cabins can be difficult for some vehicles or driver who are not used to mountain roads. Snow tires are essential in winter. Parking is available just below cabins for those who choose to use it-especially during winter months after large snowfall. This being said the cabins are mountain cabins. If you are adverse to winter driving, walking or have a 2-wheel drive vehicle with all season tires, this might not be the place for you during winter months. Other things to note 1. Our cabins are on a septic system so please only toilet paper and #1 and 2 down the toilets please. Avoid putting harsh cleaners and solvents down as well. As little fat and grease as well. 2. Water comes from a pumped well so try to conserve water by turning off flow when not in use. 3. Park in spaces below cabins if snow is bad, unless you have a good 4 wheel drive.
