Cosy, well located Fisherman's Cottage Thornham

Sandpiper is a charming, traditional fisherman's cottage which is cosy, quiet & comfortable. It's located in popular Thornham village, known for its characterful houses & excellent pubs & restaurants. The open plan sitting room/kitchen includes sofa, table & chairs. Upstairs features a double bedroom (good mattress) with bathroom & a luggage storage room. Please note the stairs are STEEP, care needs to be taken & are not recommended for those with mobility issues. Parking is across the street. The space The cottage (approx 550sq ft) is sensitively designed and feels calm and cosy (especially with an open fire in the colder months). The kitchenette includes, sink, microwave, oven and fridge with a freezer compartment. As mentioned, the traditional stairs (with bannisters) are STEEP so not suitable for toddlers unassisted or those with mobility issues. There is a shared front garden immediately outside the front door and we find this is a very safe place for kids and pets as the garden gate has a latch on it. There is a bistro style table and 2 chairs which guests can have coffee at and listen to the birdsong. The second bedroom is used as a luggage store as there isn't a proper blind or bed in there, please keep this in mind when booking. Guest access Parking can be found across the street alongside the church or on most of the adjoining roads. Parking is less than a minute from the house. You can access and use the communal garden in front of the house which is shared with two other cottages and has a gate with a latch. You will also have access to the shed if you need it (good for bike storage). For guests with electric cars there is an EV charging point at The Orange Tree across the road (see pics) Other things to note We do not recommend the cottage for families with children due it’s size however a small cot may fit in the double bedroom which guests are welcome to bring. As mentioned the stairs are steep so please take care when using them.
