Description

Nothing fancy to see here! We are doing our best to work with Nature as we create our home and open our 14 acres of raw beautiful land to guests. We have 18 hole disc golf, yoga dome, hammocks, trails, fossil hunting, a Spring (rain dependent) etc! The Treetop Cabin sits a hundred feet away from any other structure and has a patio overlooking the Texas Hill Country. The land provides an opportunity to connect with Nature. Location allows easy access to Hill Country attractions. The space The Treetop Cabin is a small (maybe even tiny!) cabin that has everything you need for a getaway. A small kitchen (with a stove, sink, and minifridge) that runs right into the living room. The ladder takes you up to the sleeping loft with a queen sized Tempurpedic mattress. The tall side of the loft, where the ladder enters is 7’ tall and graduates down towards the head of the bed. The compact bathroom has a shower, sink, and composting toilet. The cabin opens up onto a large deck on the edge of the hill with some lovely Hill Country sights and sounds. The cabin is on raw Hilly Country land, which means incredible beauty, yet untamed. It is a 500 foot hike from parking. 1-2 children could be included in the rental as well with 2 adults. The property includes our 14 acres open for exploration! We have hiking trails, our own private fresh water Spring for swimming, 18 hole disc golf, hammocks, a communal kitchen and social area, etc. Guest access The 14 acre property is open for exploration, including a fresh water spring, hammock hangs, picnic tables, some hiking trails, 18-hole disc golf course, and even some fossil and artifact hunting. On the property, we have a full community kitchen available to all guests. Including grill, cookware, spices, Pitboss smoker, sink, a fridge, etc. There is also a communal covered social space with, books, art supplies, and games. The neighborhood is a "country" neighborhood: private gravel road, multi-acre properties spaced out, with friendly neighbors all enjoying the peace of Hill Country living. We are very close to all things Hill Country! -Johnson City- 8 miles -Blanco- 10 miles -Pedernales Falls State Park- 19 miles -Blanco State Park- 11 miles -Fredericksburg- 38 miles -Dripping Springs- 21 miles -15 wineries within 30 minutes -Real Ale Brewery- 9 miles -Lydon B. Johnson State Park- 22 miles -Reck 'Em Right Brewery- 8 miles -Real Spirits Distilling- 9 miles -Moonshine Ridge Distillery- 8 miles -Andalusia Whiskey Distillery- 5 miles -Austin - 44 miles -San Antonio- 70 miles Other things to note We require all of our guests to read and understand the directions, check in instructions, and house manual when they arrive. We ask guests to respect the land, the space, and us. There is a ladder to access the sleeping loft. We do use composting toilets in the cabin. We run off of a rain water system, so water conservation is appreciated. Responsible dogs only please! If you bring a dog, you must make sure they stay on the property at all times and do not roam onto neighbor’s properties. Their barking should be respectful of others.
