Traditional North Norfolk cottage

Beautiful two bedroom cottage on a quiet back street, in the unspoilt village of South Creake, 3 miles south of Burnham Market. We renovated it a few years ago. It provides a wonderful base from which to enjoy the North Norfolk coast (walk the beaches, take boat trips to see the seals, visit a range of wonderful pubs / restaurants) or stay in with a good book and a glass of wine in front of the woodburner. EV charger available by arrangement. The space Barn Cottage is a 300 year old building that we renovated over recent years using traditional materials (lime plaster, oak floors etc). We installed a bespoke hand-made kitchen with induction hob, double oven, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge, freezer and microwave as well as all crockery, cutlery, pans, dishes etc We hung original art throughout and often use the cottage for family and friends. So it is more like an extension of our home than a typical rental property i.e. it is slightly quirky, full of books and big beams, and the walls can be a bit dusty etc. But it all adds to the charm and character of the cottage (in our view!). The bedrooms both have king size beds, mattress toppers and feather pillows and duvets. The bathroom has a bath and power shower; WC and basin. Full sets of luxury cotton towels are provided for use in the cottage. Beach towels are not provided so need to be brought by guests. The sitting room has a sofa, armchairs, woodburner sitting within an inglenook fireplace and smart TV (Sky / Netflix / Prime etc). There is an open staircase from here to the first floor. There is broadband with wifi, a bluetooth smart speaker and radio. There is Central Heating and unlimited hot water. Outside is a patio within a walled courtyard, with table and chairs, a firepit and a BBQ (charcoal & wood available on request). There is an EV charge point that is available by request. Up to 2 small / medium sized and well-behaved dogs are welcome. Guest access Parking is outside in the road - two parking spaces - designated by NO PARKING signs (so no one else parks there)! One against the back wall of the cottage. The other against the end of our house. Other things to note There is a housebook with details of how everything works, suggestions of what to do, where to walk, restaurants and pubs nearby etc. Maps and guidebooks are available on request. Access is via a keybox. Full directions and details supplied post booking. Please note that we allow a maximum of 2 small / medium sized dogs on the strict understanding that they are well behaved and will be kept downstairs and off the furniture. We have had a number of bad experiences recently with dogs barking endlessly; being left unattended and soiling carpets!
