'The Backyard' @ Windmill Farm Cottages

2 bedroom, family run self catering barn conversion in the Vale of Glamorgan alongside a small working farm. Windmill Farm Cottages are 18th century barn conversions located in the picturesque Vale of Glamorgan, a short journey from the market town of Cowbridge. Only 10 minutes from Cowbridge, 15 minutes from Bridgend and Llantrisant, 20 minutes from Cardiff and 30 minutes from Swansea. 10 minutes to either M4 J34 or 35. The space We are a family run business who also actively run the farm within which the cottages are situated. Our cottages were converted in 1999 and each has it's own private access, a living room/kitchen diner, bedroom and bathroom with shower. The kitchen is kitted with a gas hob, oven and fridge (with freezer compartment). There is a TV in each cottage with a DVD player available on request. You will have access to a shared laundry room, with washing machines and a tumble dryer. We provide bed linen and towels. Upon arrival we make sure you have fresh milk, tea and coffee. Unfortunately, due to the rural location we are still awaiting a reasonable broadband connection so cannot offer our guests WiFi, however, mobile reception is good on several networks and we can recommend use of mobile broadband (dongle or MiFi) as we use it for our internet connection in the farmhouse. Dogs are very welcome, we just ask that we are advised how many will be joining you to ensure your cottage is a suitable size. We also politely ask that dogs don't go on the beds and that they remain on leads whilst on the property and they are the owner's responsibility. Please also ensure there is a throw on the sofas if they sit on them. If you have any problems finding us or other issues on the day of arrival please give me a call on my mobile as occasionally there are delays with Airbnb messages coming through or I may be out on the farm and unable to text back immediately.
