Cozy Two-Bedroom Apartment on Hermon Pond, Hermon, Maine Enjoy a charming two-bedroom apartment attached to our home, just 5 minutes from the interstate, 20 minutes from Bangor International Airport, and about an hour from Acadia National Park. With our long private driveway and the serene pond in the backyard, you’ll feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere. Recently remodeled, the apartment exudes a cozy camp vibe with wide yellow pine walls, hidden doors, and beautiful views of the lake. The space Recently remodeled two-bedroom suite: Master Bedroom: Queen bed Second Bedroom: Queen futon with a twin bunk bed above Living Area: Smart TV and a pullout couch that sleeps two Kitchenette: Equipped with a small fridge, convection oven, coffee machine, sink and drying rack, and microwave (coffee provided) Full Bathroom: Featuring a stand-up shower Experience a charming living space with a cozy camp feel, highlighted by large pine walls, hidden doors, and a stunning view of the lake. The suite is separated from our main living area by a closed-off, winding stairway. Guest access The suite is situated above a private, attached garage, offering one designated parking space for guests, along with ample outdoor parking. Access to the suite is via a short stairwell. We park and access our living space elsewhere. Other things to note We encourage outdoor recreation and have plenty of space to access the pond and woods. The pond is a year round playground providing great boating, fishing and swimming in the summer, and switches over to ice fishing, skating and snowmobiling in the winter. The local snowmobile club maintains access to ITS trails from the pond. There is Hermon Ski Mountain within walking distance! They offer tubing and more! We have a fire pit that can be used at your own risk. There is a fire extinguisher available outside near the pit. We ask that you bring your own fire wood. We do not regularly stock wood but if there is some by the pit please feel free to use it.
