Boschfontein Mountain Lodge Entire Lodge (4 units)

Boschfontein Mountain Lodge is a beautiful double storey sandstone lodge with stunning views of the Caledon River Valley and the Maluti Mountains, situated 18km from Ficksburg, on the Ficksburg – Fouriesburg road. This family run self-catering lodge has 4 units and can accommodate up to 18 people. Each comfortable unit has a bathroom with a basin, shower and toilet. The shared living areas include the kitchen, braai areas, bar, lounge and verandas.Shared living areas and units are cleaned daily. The space Unit 1 and Unit 4: 1 x queen size bed downstairs and 2 x ¾ beds upstairs (per unit) Unit 2 and Unit 3: 1 x queen size bed downstairs and 3 x ¾ beds upstairs (per unit) Each unit has its own fireplace. Wood is provided for the fireplaces and the braai areas. Linen and towels are provided. Energy sources: solar power and gas geysers. Boschfontein Farm is a working sheep, cattle and game farm. Other activities on the farm (upon request) include: mountain trails and river walks, game drives (waterbuck, springbuck, impala, black wildebeest, zebra, blesbuck, ostriches, red hartebeest), the gong challenge, clay pigeon shooting (English Sporting Clay course), black powder shooting, Pinedene Small Arms Museum tour and cherry liqueur tasting. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire lodge, braai area, various hiking and mountain bike routes. Other areas of the farm will be made available by arrangement with host (e.g. game drives, shooting range etc).
