The Cabin on the Glen Innish Farm
A one of a kind Vacation Cabin Rental with lots of rustic charm. This cabin sits on an 80 acre farm with lots of wildlife, birds and great walking trails. Set out on the deck and watch the sunrise over Lake Michigan. A perfect place to get away and reconnect with nature. Located just north of Kewaunee WI and a short drive the Lambeau Field, this get away Cabin is the perfect place to stay during Packer Games. Guest access Our guest have full access to the entire Cabin, Patios, Decks and Cabin Gardens. In addition, our guest have access to our hiking trail. The trail is approximately 1 mile and circles around the property. The trail was designed to show how we farm with a holistic approach. You will be able to observe the wildlife and bird habitats that we are creating while still being able to graze our beef and sheep. Along the trail, we have create little nooks that have picnic tables and seating areas. A great place to take a cup of coffee or lunch/dinner. Glen Innish Farm is a working farm and it should be noted that you will often see us working in the fields, with the animals or in the Lavender Field. We respect the privacy of our guest, but are happy to discuss our passion with you if interested. The Cabin is further down the drive from the Lavender Field and Farm Store and even though visible from the Cabin, not invasively. The Lavender Field and Farm Store is open Wednesday through Friday 11-5, and Saturday 9-3. Guests to the Lavender Field and Farm Store are usually limited to small groups. The Cabin is clearly marked for Cabin guests only and is separated from the Lavender Field and Farm Store by a fence. If you would like to add time in our lavender field to your stay, please reach out and arrangements can be made. Other things to note PLEASE HONOR OUR HOUSE RULES: 1. No smoking inside the Cabin. Smoking is allowed outside on the patio. All cigarette butts must be put in the available buckets provided. 2. No unregistered overnight guests. Please remember the maximum capacity for the Cabin is 6 people. Even if you have guests during the day, more than 6 must be approved prior to your stay. 3. No parties allowed during your stay unless approved prior to your stay. 4. Please take care of our furnishings. Please do not rearrange the furniture or decorations. Report all damages in a timely manner. 5. No illegal activities anywhere on the property. This applies to both drugs and internet activity. 6. No shooting of firearms or fireworks allowed on the property. 7. No “cleaning” of harvested wildlife/fowl/birds/fish allowed on the property. 8. Please recycle and dispose of garbage in the trash bins. Larger bins are located along the north outside wall of the garage. 9. Please keep the kitchen tidy. Wash dishes, put away food, etc. 10. Please respect check in and out times. If you need to extend your check out time, please let us know. We will do our best to accommodate, but if we have other bookings, we cannot guarantee your request. WEDDING STAYS If your stay with us involves getting married at any of our local wedding venues, first – Congratulations! Please note we have a couple of rules regarding any wedding gatherings at the Cabin. 1. All wedding activities MUST be approved prior to your stay with us. 2. If the bridal party is getting ready at the Cabin, we must be notified prior to your stay with the number of vehicles that will be present, the number of individuals (including stylists) that will be at the Cabin. 3. Absolutely NO GLITTER will be allowed in the Cabin. If glitter is used in the cabin, there will be an additional $250 cleaning fee applied to your rental. PHOTO OPPORTUNITIES We know that this is a special day for you. Please feel free to use any of the yard, patio, deck and trails for your photos. If you do and don’t mind sharing your photos with us, we would love to see them. PETS We know that pets are part of the family and welcome them in the Cabin. If you do travel with pets, please follow the following rules. 1. If pets are on the furniture, please use the provided pet covers for the couch, chairs and beds. 2. We have a small fenced in area off the north door of the cabin for your convenience. Please keep pets on a leash outside the cabin. Pets are welcomed on the trails as well when leashed. 3. Please pick up after you pets. 4. Pets are not allowed to stay in the cabin by themselves without being crated. 5. Note: we do not provide any food/water dishes, litter boxes, etc. You must bring with you everything that your pet will need. ITEMS TO MAKE YOUR STAY A LITTLE MORE PLEASANT We will provide a small amount of items to help make your stay as pleasant as possible. Coffee/Tea We all need to enjoy a cuppa. Coffee grounds, Kcups and tea bags will be provided, along with sugar and sweetener. Kitchen We have tried to stock the kitchen with all that will be needed. There are enough plates, bowls, glasses for a sitting of 6. There are some wine, beer, and cocktail glasses. Other items: pots, pans, skillets, mixing bowls, measuring cups, cooking utensils, wine opener and bottle opener. All kitchen wares will be sanitized between stays. Beds Each bed will be freshly made with sheets, blankets and comforters. All bedding will be sanitized between stays. All beds and pillows have covers that will be changed between each stay as well. Extra pillows and blankets are available for all beds. Bathroom Towels, Hand towels and washcloths will be provided for each guest. All towels will be sanitized between stays. Small samples toiletries will be available if needed. Rolls of toilet paper will be provided. Laundry There is a small pair of washer and dryer available for use. Cleaning Supplies A small selection of basic cleaning supplies will be provided for use. Details regarding the WiFi, Thermostat, Appliances, Things and Place to see, along with other details about the Cabin, will be included in our Welcome book located in the Kitchen of the Cabin.
