A cozy 3-bedroom home on a working organic tea estate—fully staffed with a chef, waiter and housekeeping. No chores, just comfort and local charm. During your stay you can try your hand at plucking tea, head out for a hike through the estate, or enjoy a laid-back game of cricket on the lawn. Our menu is available on request, with fresh, home-style meals. The staff reside in a separate house on the estate, ensuring your privacy while remaining available whenever needed. Guest access Entire house except the kitchen Other things to note FARMHOUSE RULES AND REGULATIONS Our house rules are in place to help make your stay pleasant and enjoyable, while ensuring that every guest can experience the same level of comfort, hygiene, and safety. Only confirmed, registered guests are permitted during your stay. No unregistered persons to be entertained at anytime. This is for yours and our safety. No illegal activities or the use of illegal substances allowed. No smoking inside the house or on the terrace. Please do not operate the blinds and in particular do not let children play with them. Our staff will be happy to adjust them according to your needs. Children under 7 should be accompanied by an adult when using the stairs. Children should be supervised by an adult while in the garden at all times because (a) there is a pond. (b) the house is on a working farm in the tropics, and there will be insects, lizards and other creepy crawlies. No pets allowed. Log fire usage guidelines Please be advised that only one log fire maybe lit on any given day, either the indoors or outdoors. The fire will be lit and maintained by staff for a maximum period of two hours, between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. Guests are kindly requested not to attempt to light or adjust the fire themselves. For safety reasons, children must be kept well away from the fireplace at all times. Adult guests are also asked to exercise caution and not to interfere with the fire once it has been lit. In case of an emergency the staff can be contacted via the number posted on the kitchen door. Due to the limited number of staff, they are unable to run errands or go to the shops on behalf of guests. Guests are not permitted to enter the kitchen and are not allowed to cook anywhere on the premises. No cooked or uncooked food from outside allowed other than snacks, soft drinks and sweet items. Food orders must be placed at least four hours in advance for lunch and dinner. Breakfast orders must be given the previous night.
