Historic Silex - Private Log Cabin for 2

This log cabin is the perfect place for a couple's getaway where you can enjoy the great outdoors in a peaceful setting. The cabin is located just off "Route 66" in Cuba, MO. Experience outdoor adventures such as hiking, fishing, canoeing, rafting and kayaking. There are also some local wineries to enjoy. Whatever you do during the day, you can plan on coming back to a cozy cabin and enjoy your barbeque grill, firepit and the quiet sounds of nature. The space Our cabin was originally built in the late 1800's and was moved from Silex, MO and rebuilt on our family property of 50 acres. It has a rustic feel, but all furnishings are brand new. It has a king size bed, one bath, air conditioning and heating, refrigerator, stove & microwave. The kitchen is completely stocked with cookware & dishes. It also has a deck with patio set. There is no television which was intentional-the Cabin has everything that guests need to enjoy their stay offline -- games, books, magazines, puzzles.We are the perfect stop if you're traveling the Historic Route 66 highway, or if you're looking for a perfect spot for a weekend in the country. Please note we do not allow pets.
