Country Cabin Retreat

Take a load off and recharge away from it all just 25minutes from Mareeba. Sleepy Mutchilba is on the historical wheelbarrow run to Chillagoe, popular for it's limestone caves and unique escarpments. Fully self contained with with a queen bed and double sofa bed. Plenty of room to park a Caravan with a high carport. Take a walk around our 80acre farm or play some pool in the old Tobacco Shed. Watch the sun go down with a cold one and spin a few yarns around the fire pit. The space One of three dwellings on an ex-tobacco farm, now used for cattle and horses. The cabin is newly renovated and very comfortable with a regular cool breeze from the East. We do not even use Air-Con here but it has been recently installed for those who prefer it. Guest access Bitumen road to the front and an side access for trucks or large trailers. Optus Mobile coverage only in our area. If you need to make a Telstra call you can drive approximately 2km to the end of Algoma Road go straight off the bitumen up the hill to the water channel and make your call. Do not cross the bridge as this is private property. Other things to note Come and see us before you use the barn or walk around the farm so you get the most out of your stay. If we are not around there is a property map in the cabin; just remember to leave gates the way you find them so we don't lose any stock.
