My place is close to parks, the city center, and nightlife. You’ll love my place because of the comfy bed and the coziness. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. I have a lovely warm home complete with a fabulous fireplace for winter evenings! In the summer, I have beautiful gardens to enjoy. I have been hosting people in my home for years through our local yoga teacher training program but have just now opened my home to a wider variety of guests. I have a kitchen in my basement but if needed (and it was available at the time) you could also use my kitchen. I live a plant based life style and would prefer no meat cooked here. I will be here to assist you in any any way that I can and enjoy getting to know you. If you prefer your privacy, I also respect that. There is a softball field directly across from my home and on summer evenings you will hear the sound of the bats and people cheering their teams on. They are finished most nights by 9 00. Next to that is Tourtellotte Pool so if swimming is of interest to you (outside pool) bring your swimsuit. There is pleasant neighborhood walking and the Sakatah biking/hiking trail is about 2 blocks from here. There is also a trail that leads to a river bike/hike trail taking you to Sibley Park. Both are so lovely! Nothing is much further than 10 minutes from where I live. Bikes would work for much of your travel if you are an avid biker but some places may be more accesible because of traffic with car. I do have a cat named Bella. She does not typically sleep in the Airbnb room but she does have access to the whole house. I note this in case you or someone in your group has cat allergies. Guests and family members love to stay here! I have a park right across the street with a playground, softball field, pool and space for picnics or gatherings. Walking, biking trail is just a couple blocks away. The mall is 5 minutes away, MSU is a 10 minutes away, downtown is about 3 minutes away! I have just added a little coffee/tea nook in the green room so you can have a cup when you wake up! I currently do not have a refrigerator in that space so you are welcome to use mine if needed. The same will be true if you rent the basement apartment for your stay, however there is a full kitchen there.
