It is a perfect place for families, groups of friends, or colleagues. Each bedroom has an ensuite bathroom, a walk-in closet, and AC. The studio, living room, and dining room have ceiling fans. There's also a portable fan available. From the living room glass door, you have access to the terrace, the backyard, and the pool. There's a charcoal grill available. As outdoor furniture, you'll have a folding table, and a folding bench. The dining chairs are also suited for the outdoors, so you can bring them to the terrace. Everything in the house is electric, except for the grill, which is located outdoors. There is a water filter installed in the kitchen sink. Location note: The home is located in the Real Montejo neighborhood, a quiet residential area outside the city center and not within walking distance of major attractions. Its main advantage is quick access to Mérida’s peripheral ring road, making it easy to drive to different parts of the city and nearby destinations. A car is strongly recommended. We encourage guests to review the approximate location shown in the “Where you’ll be” map section to ensure it’s a good fit for their travel plans before booking. Guest access You will have access to the whole house except the service room next to the kitchen. There is one designated parking spot right in front of the house and free street parking. From the main street a few blocks to the house, the road is not paved. It is safe to drive through, just be cautious. Other things to note Guests outside those who have been confirmed on the reservation or pre-authorized by the host, are not allowed. Violation of this rule may result in a $ 500 MXN fine per extra person, per night, and cancellation of your reservation without refund. If you have a special request let add more guests to your reservation or have a few people over, let us know and we will review it. Please adhere to the number of guests policy. Our front door is equipped with cameras, and any violations will be noticed. Pool cleaning is done once a week so we can keep it always ready for guests. On Wednesdays at 4:00 pm we pour the cleaning products and on Thursdays at 11:00 am we vacuum. Guests are not allowed to enter the pool during this process. If this schedule doesn't work for you, please let us know, and we will try our best to accommodate a schedule that works best for you. Note the cleaners do not enter the house at any point, they access the pool through an outer corridor. We offer two rolls of toilet paper in each bathroom. In case you need more, there's a convenience store nearby. We provide utensils for the grill. You can buy charcoal for the grill in the nearby convenience store OXXO. Be cautious when walking on the terrace floor as it is slippery. Make sure to dry yourself off when coming out of the pool. All our kitchen appliances are electric for your safety (stove, oven, microwave). The top of the stove may or may not light up when the burners are being used. So, be cautious when you are cooking, and make sure to properly turn them off when not in use. Also, please be careful and place any pots and pans on the crystal surface of the stove delicately, as it can get easily damaged. We offer a drinking water filter in the kitchen, conveniently connected to the sink. Do not throw toilet paper or other waste in the toilet. Please use the trash bin. Please be mindful of the use of electricity. Close the bedroom doors when the AC is in use. Turn off all AC units, lights, and appliances when not in use and when leaving the property. Make sure to close and lock all doors and windows when leaving the house, including the terrace glass door. We don't have a washer/dryer on the property, however, there's a laundry place just a few blocks from the house. There are convenience stores close to the house. Just 3 minutes away by car (750 m), you'll find an OXXO, and only 2 minutes away (450 m), a local grocery store. Mérida features a tropical hot and wet climate. We do periodic pest treatment in the house and we apply an anti-insect product after each cleaning. Despite these measures, mosquitoes, spiders, and other insects are common in this climate. No parties or events are allowed. Please respect the neighbors by keeping the noise down, especially from 10:00 pm to 8:00 am. Smoking inside the property is not allowed, but you may smoke in the outdoor areas. Just make sure to use the ashtrays and not leave the butts on the floor. If we find burns, smoke smell, or butts, we will be forced to charge a penalty fee. Any damage to the property will be claimed from the security deposit and handled through the Airbnb Resolution Center.
