Unique Guest House

The self contained and private retreat is a few metres from our house, recently converted from a 1940s garage . Using a mix of original, new and reclaimed building materials and furniture, you will enjoy the unique bedroom and generous bathroom, perfect for 2 guests. The space This stunning self-contained bedroom and bathroom is in a recently converted 1940s double brick garage with a terracotta tiled roof. It’s is fully insulated and lots of hot water. The room is situated adjacent to the main house where we live with our two dogs and cat. They are friendly and love interacting with guests. We are located in the leafy suburb of Mount Lofty in east Toowoomba, just 5 minutes drive from the top of the range. There is a double bed with lots of warm options (heater, electric blankets and woolly blankets) for the cool Toowoomba nights and an overhead fan for warmer ones. Tea and coffee is provided and there is a TV, fridge and microwave. There is a choice of cereals for a light breakfast. The room opens onto a private deck with table and chairs for you to enjoy the birds and garden, plus a few pats with our pets. Guest access You will have access to your room via a side gate. Free parking is available at the front of the property, just a few metres from your front door. Other things to note There are two dogs and a cat who roam around the property.
