The Yellow Cottage

Our cottage has a spectacular view with nearby hiking and biking trails, the towns of Mahone Bay and historic Lunenburg. It is situated on a southern facing hill overlooking the water and islands of beautiful Mahone Bay. You’ll love our place because of the serenity and outdoors space. Wild roses separate the cottage from a large lawn with garden. It is quiet and at night a good place to view the sky. Sailboats float by. Our place is good for couples and families (with kids). Guest access You will have the complete first floor which includes two bedrooms, bathroom and kitchen within the main room; in total about 900 square feet of space. You may wander around the 5 acre lawn and gardens, see deer and other wildlife or play lawn games (some available). We do reserve the basement, with its separate entrance as it stores our gardening equipment. We access this during reasonable daylight hours (not very early). Other things to note Although guests will have full access to the first floor, we maintain access to the basement. This access is for gardening tools and we keep reasonable hours.
