The Desert Den: Permian Basin & National Parks

Experience the rugged charm of the New Mexico desert from our inviting 2 bedroom 1 bath apartment. Perfectly located to blend adventure with convenience, this unit is just a short 20 mile drive from the awe-inspiring Carlsbad Caverns NP and 1 hour from Guadalupe Peak NP. Carlsbad is nestled in the bustling heart of the Permian Basin! Whether you are here for work or exploration, a mix of both, this apartment offers a cozy and peaceful retreat to recharge after your days. Long stays welcome! The space The Property: Three-unit apartment building with a small (shared) front yard and patio extending the length of the front of the building with 3 shade trees and a few barbecue grills, chairs and tables. Parking: We have enough space to park 8 cars comfortably located on the side of the apartment off of the street and a back yard space that is fenced in dedicated for oversized vehicles or equipment with surveillance cameras and a lock. The Building: Built in 1995, our apartment is not brand new but it is well maintained. *Aging may be noticeable.* The Kitchen: Full-sized with all the essential cooking appliances and utensils you would need to cook some nice meals. There is a nice table with two chairs that can be used as a dedicated work space as well as a place to eat. Room 1: Medium sized room with a queen-size bed and a dresser set to stow away your clothes, two night stand located on each side of the bed and a spacious closet. Room 2: Exact same size as room 1 and same amenities. The Bathroom: Full size bathroom The Living Room: Two comfortable sofas with a rug and coffee table and a new 55" Android Smart TV with Google assistance and all the apps you would need. WIFI: High-speed 1GB Guest access Front yard has grills so guests can cookout if they’d like to. There’s also access to a parking lot for Big Rigs with an additional $35.00 fee per week. Other things to note Small triplex apartment building with off street parking. Very safe and quiet neighborhood with very few neighbors. Located right outside city limits in the country. We have locked gated parking available for trailers, equipment & oversized vehicles upon request.
