South Geodome - Birchwood Luxury Camping

Located one hour from Toronto, Birchwood is a luxury camping experience for two. Immersed in a private forest on Scugog Island, our geodesic dome allows for a cozy and relaxing getaway. Enjoy the surrounding landscape and check out local shops and restaurants on Port Perry main street. Our geodome is designed for 2 guests however, a group 3 adults are welcome. Additional guests must be 12+ and added to your reservation at the time of booking. We do not allow pets. The space Reconnect with the surrounding forest through floor to ceiling windows and view the stars from the moonroof above your bed. Our dome has heating and cooling and many unique features for you to enjoy a luxurious stay. ​Our living area is decorated and inspired by the great outdoors to create a calm, relaxing experience for guests. It is equipped with a King bed, kitchenette, dining and living area. Free WIFI is also provided. ​The bathroom and shower & hot tub are one with nature. They sit in the woods detached from the Geodesic dome. (Please note the bathroom is a glamourous outhouse & our shower is open seasonally and closes when temperatures dip below freezing) Guest access - Self check-in - Property comes with free parking - Enter the SOUTH driveway marked with a Birchwood sign on the gate. Push the gate to open and close behind you as you enter. - If you turn into a paved driveway and see a house you have gone down the wrong driveway - Park in the designated area and walk your belongings to the dome. - CAUTION forest landscape be careful not to slip, trip or fall proper footwear is recommended - To enter, use the keypad code sent to you followed by the lock button. To lock the door, hold the door shut and press the lock button, no code needed. Other things to note SHOWER Outdoor shower is a seasonal amenity it will be closed early to mid November.
