We are a great central landing spot for all of your Rockbridge County exploration. Your private bedroom is on the main floor of our home. The 2 room suite is located directly off the side door entrance of our home and has vintage arched doors to close off the space for added privacy. Through the arched doors is the living room with leather pull out sofa and smart TV. The bedroom area is furnished with an antique queen four poster bed, quality mattress & quality linens. There is a Keurig coffee machine in the room for your convenience as well as a mini fridge with various complimentary snacks/beverages/ coffee items. Your private bathroom is ready for your stay with fluffy towels & toiletries. A continental style breakfast is provided with fruit, baked goods & on-the-go options like cereal, yogurt or hard boiled eggs. Our neighbors are the kind of friendly folks that you read about in story books. The neighborhood is safe, active, pet loving & usually quiet after 10 pm. All the great restaurants & party spots begin just a few blocks away. Park your car & walk to everything around downtown Lexington including VMI, Washington & Lee and various historic sites of Lexington. Ideas? Grab lunch at Taps or dinner/ drinks at The Palms- a Lexington staple. Sip coffee downtown or grab a treat at the chocolate store or ice cream shop. Go on a nature hike along Woods creek or Chessie trail or drive up to see the Blue Ridge Parkway views! There is so much more to do… Private parking available- free on street parking We are a busy young family (with a 10 & 12 year old) and 2 recently rescued Great Danes. We are typically early risers but try to keep the house quiet on the mornings we have guests. We love living in Lexington with all its great people & wonderful things it offers. Please note the room rate is based on double occupancy- there is a pull out sofa available that can accommodate 2 additional guests for $50/guest/night. Please let me know in advance if you need the pull out sofa set up for your stay. Note- your room rate includes continental breakfast & mandated Lexington local city taxes. Also, please note I do not charge a cleaning fee.
