Quirky Woodland Cottage In Idyllic Location

Our family cottage offers you a colourful retreat in utterly blissful woodland surroundings. You can expect to be enveloped by nature, wonderfully secluded, and enjoy some utter peace whilst also being within walking distance of a very decent pub and a short drive from a handful of lively Cotswold towns. The house is rustic and quirky and you can walk for hours in the forest and surrounding countryside, directly from the front door. The space The house is number three of four terraced woodcutters cottages, situated down a quarter of a mile of bumpy woodland track. It has three bedrooms (one of which is accessed through another bedroom) so would be perfect for a family or small group of close friends who don't mind sharing one bathroom. On the first floor there are two double bedrooms, one of which has plenty of children's books and toys to keep your little ones entertained. The first floor is also where the bathroom is situated. On the second floor, tucked into the attic, is a light and airy double bedroom with glorious views over the valley and into the wood. Please note that this bedroom is accessed through one of the double bedrooms on the first floor. In the winter, light the stove and curl up with a book in the cosy living room after a bracing walk in the woods. In the summer, spend your time relaxing in the garden or romping around the valley. You can then take your pick of lovely local pub gardens in which to cool down with a pint. The house has an enormous garden that trails down the edge of the valley and you can watch deer playing in the fields below whilst you drink your morning coffee on the patio. The valley and woods offer endless wonders for adults and children to explore. There's a chiminea on the patio that you can use to cook sausages and marshmallows or to warm your hands whilst you watch the bats and listen to the owls at night. Guest access You will have access to the whole house and gardens although you currently are not able to use the music room located half way down the garden as the family uses it for storage.
