Centrally located in the elegant Country Club area, near downtown and commercial areas. Former Super Hosts with 5+ years of experience. Daily Continental Breakfast. Perfect for long term guests like traveling healthcare professionals. The spaces are furnished with period-appropriate and family pieces that the hosts have acquired during their years of marriage. The first bedroom, Charlotte's Chamber, is named after the hostess' younger sister and is decorated in a style that she would like. It features an ensemble of 1930s furniture, bed, vanity, dresser, round table and Eastlake table and chairs that date from the 1800s. The oak floors are original to the home. The space features a north-facing window seat with expansive views of the North Lawn, featuring planting areas, a 1920s Summer House and animals such as deer, rabbits, squirrels, and an occasional fox. The second bedroom, Rachel's Room, boasts two beds, one a double and one a single, a dresser and sitting/reading area. The single bed and dresser were purchased by the hostess when she was a teenager and are cherished family pieces. The Den is our newest creation. An area rug, futon and side chairs with matching tables create a warm and cozy experience. This space houses the TV (with numerous cable channels, NetFlix and other streaming entertainment options. Also in this room are the refrigerator, microwave and coffee brewer. We market these spaces to longer term guests such as traveling healthcare professionals. Minimum stay is one month. Our guests have access to the entire 2nd floor of our home as well as the grounds. The laundry facilities are in the basement which our guests also may use at their convenience. We even provide the laundry detergent, fabric softener and bleach! The home is located in the historic and upscale Country Club area of Sioux City. Each home is unique with many dating to the 1920s and 1930s. We are located just minutes from the downtown Sioux City area and within a short drive (either 5 or 15 minutes) from the two hospitals in Sioux City. We market these spaces to meet the unique needs of longer-term guests such as traveling healthcare professionals (RNs, LPNs, Therapists, Technicians, etc.) We believe we have priced the space at a fair and reasonable rate. We do not offer less that the entire space. Our minimum stay is 30 days with a significant discount and an even higher discount for 3-month or longer stays.
