Relax & unwind in our beautiful forest home. Nestled beside a mountain with bright south-facing windows, this West Coast Style, open concept house is truly a special place. The main floor features fully stocked kitchen, living room with wood burning stove, dining area, and full bathroom (marble-surround bathtub and heated floors) + large deck. On the second floor is your sleeping area with queen bed, en-suite bathroom, TV area, workspace, and an upper deck for feeding the birds and stargazing. The space The house is ‘West Coast Style’—all open spaces and windows, and faces south. It is up a driveway nestled next to a mountain with a very private feel. For those who love to cook: our Kitchen is well stocked with spices, oil, s & p as well as various bake-ware, Kitchen Aid Mixer, French Press, Electric kettle and Waffle maker. Guest access ACCESSIBILITY: Note that the sleeping area is up a flight of stairs without a railing -- stability climbing steps without support is required. The town is ~7 min drive away, with another liquor store and coffee shop situated halfway. Magic Lake access for swimming a 5 min drive away. A recommended hike is the 25 minutes to Woods, where you can reward yourself with a cinnamon bun and coffee before making your way back. Other things to note We have DVDs,, board games, plus a selection of books. There is electric heat and a wood-burning stove. We do not have wood available at this time--guests are encouraged to bring wood for the stove for ambient evenings. The electric heat is sufficient to heat the house.
