Island Living! This peaceful cottage is on an actual island!! We will take you there by boat & drop you off, it’s a short ride. You have access to kayaks & paddle pontoon to come and go. Queen bed 1.5 baths. Full kitchen area. Decks all the way around. Watch the sunrise from the back deck & the sunset from the front deck. Bonfire wood is included as well. Parking for one vehicle. A quiet & romantic getaway for 2. Downtown Clarkston & Renaissance Festival both close to island. The space Romantic, quiet and relaxing with a beautiful view of the lake from every room with windows galore. You can watch the sunrise while still in bed. Bonfire into the night while watching the stars. Take the pontoon style paddle boat or Kayak the lake, the fishing is spectacular. Paddle boat has cushioned seats, an anchor and a ladder, if you wish to swim in the middle of the lake. Also, there is a large swim dock off shore that you can swim to and layout in the sun. Float on provided rafts while sipping your favorite drink. Nap in the hammock. Relax and kick your feet up and enjoy the view. Propane grill on deck and watch the sunset while eating dinner. Access & Activities Note: Our island location offers a unique and peaceful retreat, but please note that reaching the island requires a boat ride, and the on-site lake activities (kayaks and a paddle pontoon) require some physical coordination. Due to the nature of these amenities, this location is not be suitable for everyone. Guests should be comfortable with stepping into and out of a boat and managing basic paddling or balancing in the kayaks or paddle pontoon. For your safety and enjoyment, we recommend that guests who may have mobility challenges, or those who may find it difficult to navigate the boats or kayaks, carefully consider whether this is the right fit for your stay. We want everyone to have a wonderful and safe experience! The island only has two houses. No restaurants, although there are a lot very close, there are none on the island. Guest access Entire home.
